Our base components are sourced in Europe and manufactured in a carbon neutral manufacturing plant in Ireland, all cut offs are reused so no waste in production. This allows us to be highly scalable and cost efficient operationally to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible. It also means we can work on our other pipeline products locally. We also have a manufacturer in mainland Europe.

No, The HaPPE Apron has a 24 month shelf life, however we advise storing it in a cool dark place. All compostable products need a combination of micro organisms, moisture and fluctuation of temperature in order to initiate the biodegrading process. So once stored correctly it will keep the structural integrity of the product.
- While all compostable items are biodegradable, not all biodegradable items are compostable.
- Biodegradable simply means that an item will break down in nature eventually. However, this term is misleading because a biodegradable item could break down in 6 months or in hundred years.
- Compostable items must break down in a single composting cycle. The outcome of the compost must benon-toxic and safe for the environment.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
The 17 SDGs are integrated—they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability.
HaPPE Earth meets SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production) and 13 (climate action) in particular.
